Simple Moving Tips for a Smooth Move

Moving for the first time and not sure where to begin? Check out our simple, step-by-step moving tips from booking, packing, moving to storage, to make your move easy and stress-free!

  • Contact the moving company 1 to 3 weeks in advance to get a quote and reserve your preferred time slot, especially for weekends, month-end, or public holidays.
  • Inform your building management about your moving date and time beforehand so they can arrange lift access and temporary parking for the moving truck.
  • Take the opportunity to declutter-store seldom-used items in a mini storage unit to free up space for your new home.
  • Seal your boxes using the “H-shaped taping method” for stronger support and to prevent box breakage during transit.
  • Avoid overloading each box (recommend under 20kg). Pack heavier items like books at the bottom, lighter items on top, and fill empty spaces with bubble wrap or old clothing.
  • Defrost and dry your refrigerator a day before moving. Drain any remaining water from your washing machine. Protect computers and electronics with extra padding.
  • Label boxes clearly by area (“Bedroom”, “Living Room”, “Kitchen”, “Fragile”) to help with easy unpacking and organizing at your new place.
  • Keep valuables such as IDs, cash, important documents, and jewellery with you at all times.
  • Once you arrive at your new home or storage unit, check the number of boxes and inspect large furniture together with the moving team.
  • If moving items into a mini storage unit, place frequently used items near the entrance and less-used ones toward the back for easier future access.

If severe weather such as Typhoon Signal No. 8 or a Black Rainstorm Warning occurs on your moving day, your safety comes first. We will temporarily suspend or reschedule the move and contact you promptly to rearrange a suitable date and time.

While we handle almost all household and office items, we cannot transport hazardous materials, flammables, or illegal goods for safety and legal reasons. If you are unsure about a specific item, please contact us for clarification.
Yes. We can assist with the disassembly and reassembly of large furniture such as bed frames, wardrobes, and cabinets. The fee is based on the complexity and quantity, which will be specified in your quote.
All items are handled by our in-house team using professional packing materials and floor protection. Fragile or high-value items receive reinforced protection to minimize the risk of damage during transit.

No. All charges are clearly stated in your quote. If you need to move additional items on the day or encounter unexpected circumstances, our team will communicate and agree on any adjustments with you first.
We accept multiple payment methods including Cash and FPS. Typically, a deposit is collected upon booking, with the balance paid after the move is completed and items are checked.
Please notify us at least 4 working days (5 days for holidays) before the scheduled move. Cancellations or changes made after this window may incur an administrative fee.
We recommend notifying your building management to reserve the elevator and parking space. Also, ensure all drawers, cupboards, and fridges are emptied to prevent damage and ensure the safety of our team.
Yes! We offer a seamless Moving and Storage package. We can transport your items directly to an Apple Storage unit, where they will be protected by 24/7 CCTV, smart access, and climate control.

Safety is our priority. In the event of extreme weather (Black Rain/T3/T8), we will proactively contact you to reschedule or adjust the moving time to ensure everyone’s safety while trying to meet your deadline.

Tipping is not required. Our staff are strictly prohibited from soliciting tips. If you have feedback regarding our team’s service or attitude, please contact us directly.

We recommend checking all items with our team upon arrival. In the rare event of damage or loss, please notify us within the same day so we can follow up and assist you promptly.
