To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Apple Storage, we invited our team on a four‑day, three‑night staff trip to Malaysia. It was the perfect way to relax together, explore a new place, and mark this important milestone as one Apple Storage family.
Exploring Malaysia together
During the trip, we visited some of Malaysia’s most iconic sights, including Batu Caves, the Petronas Twin Towers and the famous Sky Mirror.
At Batu Caves, colleagues climbed the colourful 272‑step staircase, experienced the unique Hindu temple setting and met plenty of curious monkeys along the way, with the towering golden statue watching over the scene.
The Sky Mirror was a true highlight. After a short boat ride, we reached a sandbank at low tide, where the shallow water created a perfect mirror reflection of the sky. In small groups, everyone took turns posing for creative photos – jumping shots, shoulder‑to‑shoulder lines and even “monster chase” scenes – with our photographer capturing lots of fun and memorable moments.
Food, fun and team bonding
No company trip is complete without good food. We enjoyed local favourites such as curry crab, durian, “Lat Si Lat Ma” noodles and herbal bak kut teh – all big hits with the team. On the tour bus, colleagues and our guide took turns singing, filling the journey with music and laughter. A surprise cash lucky draw added even more excitement, with winners quickly planning how to celebrate with their teammates.
We also held an in‑house team‑building session designed by our own colleagues. The games looked simple, but required strategy, communication and clear role‑sharing. Through working together, everyone got to see different sides of one another and strengthen trust across the team.
Looking ahead together
This Malaysia trip gave us time to recharge, create new memories and deepen friendships beyond the office. With the support and hard work of every colleague, Apple Storage has proudly reached its 20‑year milestone.
We look forward to the next chapter and to achieving even more together in the years to come.
